Manu-Military

Post by Manu-Military »

Hi all,

I've been reading for some years from time to time some builds here without being registered.
For the people who might not know me before, there are two reasons for this : I'm a 1/16 scale modeler specializing in the US Armor from 1917 to 1945 but in the same time I don't do any R/C stuff.

I decided though to take the plunge because I thought I may learn a lot from your expertise in building large scale models.
May you consider mines being of some interest though they are dramatically static, I'd be happy to share my builds with you.

For the most impatient of you, you can yet visit my website at http://manu-military.e-monsite.com/.
And finally, I'm sorry to confirm I'm french and based right in the heart of the Corridor of Death, Normandy.
This means that apart from this horrible tare, I'll also don't speak good English and my comprehension of some talks may sometimes be quite a hard task.

Thank you for reading this and for your kind leniency.
Emmanuel

P.S.: my username is a wordplay using my forename diminutive and the latin expression ending with a i instead.

Hi, and welcome. I wish my French was as good as your English! If you build static tanks in 1/16th I'm sure your experiences will be every bit as valuable to us as ours is to you.

Hi,Manny Welcome to the Forum
Don't worry about your English, trust me some of the English speakers on this Forum might as well be writing in Serbo-Croat for all the sense they make :haha:
R/C is the part of the Tank nobody see's,
Everyone on this Forum knows that the most expensive part of a Tank is the electronics, Just don't expect anyone outside of the hobby to be in the slightest bit interested.
The detail that the modeller puts on the Tank is what distinguishes a great one from a lesser,
Not many people when they see my armour ask about the electronics except what does the Tank do?
They do ask about the various fixtures and fittings,
WE NEED YOUR INPUT
Bon Chance.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
