Would only let me put one on at a time. I just resized the photos.

Thanks very much, I have used an airbrush in the past, but I think that I would have made a mess of it.

Congrats again, Martin. You have a real beaut there. So...were your pics uploaded directly from your Mac, or did you go down the Imgur route? Either method will deliver the goods here: the tank eye-candy we enjoy so much here:thumbup:

Thanks, I uploaded them directly from my iMac. I had to resize them though before I could post.

Hi,
What gearbox lubricant is everyone using? I have some lithium white spray grease, would this be okay for the gearbox? At present, I have the boxes lubricated with light machine oil. Thanks

Hi Martin, White Lithium grease is fine but with any grease there is likely to be "Throw" over the electrics unless you have a Bulkhead high enough to catch it and the very nature of grease will allow grit to stick to it and start doing the opposite of what the grease should be doing,,
Many of the members of the Forum swear by Motorcycle Chain Lube and it is very good and has the advantage of being a "DRY" lubricant,
My own choice of Lubricant and it serves to look after every part of the Tank needing lubrication is ---
WD-40 Specialist Anti-Friction DRY PTFE Lubricant,
Be careful what you are served there are a number of similar named products out there but this is the one to buy,
After I apply this I am able to spin the gears on any of My Tanks between my fingers.
Dont forget before applying any lubricant to a gearbox to clean the gears to keep them free of grit and other possible obstructions to its free running.

Hi,
thanks for that. The white grease is from when I was working, before retiring. I used to work on escalators and lifts. Surprisingly, the oil in escalator gearboxes was quite thin. I have sprayed some of the white grease into a container, but I think it would be wise to get some of the correct lubricant.

Re: Hello from the UK
I can see no good reason why not,
And if you are a cyclist then it makes good sense to share the product between the two items with mutual advantage to both you the Tanks and your Cycle,
I would probably have made the suggestion myself if I had known your form of transport.
Shaun.
