Hooben 1:16 T55

Post by Mackem »

Hi All

Just read a post from Hermill on RCU re the above.
He attended a trade fair where the model was on display and got some excellent pics.
If the finished product is as well detailed it will be a stunner.  ;D
There are a couple of bits of bad news though:-

The inteneded release date is now the first quarter of 2009, not next month.  :(
It will not be sold RTR. ( really bad news )  :( :( :(

Cheers
John

if its right what you say  Dongskie then thats good news, but i wont hold my breath, these model making companies are notorius for getting the release dates way out. and i bet it wont be cheap, i wouldnt mind one myself but not at a silly price

So lets get it right its not going to be RTR .So when we get it we dont have to strip it down and rebuild it we build it and mod as we go (this is bad I think its a step forward )the r.c./electrics is going to be tamiya compatible and comes as an add on kit they better make more of these than tanks ,you have to supply the radio this to me is a Tamiya and I have seen on other forums Half the price of a Tamiya .So for me the only bad news is I cant have one till June.If the electrics pack is Tamiya compatible and as good as heng long or better they had better make a darn site more of these because everyone will want to convert from heng long .

I did, but she wouldn't budge anymore details on the tank except for a hazy price tag between $150-$250.

But i got all her details though   ;D ::)
So when are you taking her out for dinner  ;D ;D
