hobby boss leopard 2

hi guys am new to the modern section i got a hobby boss leopard 2a5 and am changing the tracks and sprockets and idler to the HL version i was wondering if anybody else has changed the tracks to hl and how it is done ???? any help would be appreciated :'(

This is the conversion I did on the hobby engine Abrams a few years back. Should be same for the Leo 2 base.

Hi
I did the same as Ian and changed the tracks and drive sprocket on my Hobby engine Abrams to plastic HL ZTZ 99 tracks and sprocket. If I remember rightly I also had to narrow the gap in the front idler only as well to give a good track location. The road wheels I left as hobby engine standard.
I also changed all the electronics to 2.4hzt RX-18.
She has been going well for 18 months now with no problems.

thanks for that guys but iam struggling even to take off the old idlers and sprockets i wish i had bought heng long now a lot easier :/
