Hi Barry, the gearbox is the original tamiya unit, the metal parts shown in the picture are made by DKLM RC: http://www.dklmrc.com/Steel_gears_for_T ... 23237.aspx

The gearbox on this one once upgraded is very strong. The big motors (540 I think) give enough power to drive over almost any terrain. It is quite fast, but then again so is the real leopard :D
You can never have too many tanks...... :D
