I want to get a few 1/16 scale shells for display with my Leopard 2 when finished.

Figured they can't be that hard to find. Found these beautiful ones at torro-shop.de: https://www.torro-shop.de/1-16-Accessories-Ammunition-Leopard-2-DM12-A1
However they are 50 Euros to ship to the US! Anyone have any idea of a place I could find these that doesn't cost so much to ship? Was hoping to get at least one of each or at least one of the DM11, DM12 and DM33 rounds.

No luck anywhere else I have looked.

I used a .22 Magnum shell, was perfect size for create...just have to do some refining to it. Might find cheaper at local gun shop? Image

Can't say the price will be any better.

They're pretty much cylinders in various diameters combined... get me a good side view picture and at least one dimension (like the shell casing) and I can whip them up in Tinkercad...

Edit; Quick and dirty, based on a small .gif and the dimensions on the site you linked...

Rob1970, I'll keep that in mind thanks!

I also like the .22 cartridge that's neat. 17HMR would almost work.

I actually bought the RCTankLegion versions and they are pretty nice as they are resin prints. I ordered them with a bunch of other stuff so I would feel the shipping bite so much. I really don't even want the sabot rounds. I just wanted the water proof transport cases to mount on my Abrams... Crews sometimes use the protective tubes to store stuff since they are water tight.

Yes those are the ones I would like to order, same cost of shipping to the US. However I have been in contact with https://www.torro-shop.de/ and they have kindly offered to ship a set of these three at less than the 50 euro international rate, a 10 euro international letter! Very nice of them.
