The Merkava has been on Feng's list since the day he first pitched his RC tank plan to me & asked for $30k per model. Only took him 16 years but its finally happening. That said, I'd think he should have gone with a heavy gauge spring for the suspension since what is shown above looks a tad, dare I say, toy like compared to the real deal.

Any thicker and he'd need to use plastic & put the real spring inside.

I would think that you would barely be able to see them unless you remove the side skirts. I don't think I've ever seen a Merkava running around without side skirts.

That's a given. I'll be on the look out for this at HEC in August, assuming Ark/Hooven will be exhibiting.

Cool, i see they have given it the Trophy Active protection system. Looks like we will see a lot more of them in the coming years.

The transmitter seen in the first pic does not exactly fill me with confidence... but hey.. if it isn’t too crazy expensive, I’d buy it only for the hull and such. Got a 6.1s laying about that would be just fine.

It's not cheap at $538 US. For that price you get the crappy electronics, plastic road wheels without rubber tires, nylon tracks, and probably plastic idler/sprockets. That same transmitter came with my Hooben ZTZ-99A and it's junk. My ZTZ-99A has pretty nice details though and you will get a nicer hull/suspension with this tank than on the ZTZ.

If it, indeed, is the actual street price, yeah.. ‘no go’. ‘Nice try, goodbye’ as they say.

Every time I see this tank I have to keep myself from saying Mer-va-ka instead of Mer-ka-va
