T-72 axle support bearings

Post by Jay-Em »

To my astonishment, the new Heng Long T-72 already comes with bearing holders for the sprockets.
You’ll need 2 x 12x8, I used these : MST120019 Bearing 8x12 (2) ( or any other brand.) They’re about €4.- for two.
Simply take off the Sprocket, push the bearings on the shaft and in the holder. Sprocket back on. Done!

It mìght be necessary to sand the shaft for a little bit, because sometimes there are some burrs on the flat spot that prevents the bearings from sliding on the axles.

By the by : Steel gears. Yay!!
