Panzer4 Track Tensioners.

Post by jarndice »

If you have a Panzer 4 from Taigen or Heng Long you really need a pair of Track Tensioners,
I buy mine from ---
http://www.rctank.de/TRACKS-/-WHEELS-/-GEARBOXES_21
17.95 Euros plus Postage.
Easy to fit and makes removing and replacing Tracks much simpler as well as keeping the track tension just right,
A cheaper set is available but that particular set is far too flimsy in my opinion,
The only thing I change with my Tensioners is to remove the nut on the long threaded bolt and replace it with an M3 NYLOC Which I get from----
http://www.modelfixings.com
(100 for about £7) You will never have to worry about the Tensioners slipping ever again.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

RAD I am talking about NYLOC Nuts which have a nylon locking anti-slip core within the Stainless Steel of the nut,
I am not talking about Nylon nuts that will definitely slip.

Jarndice, this is exactly what I linked you. Steel nuts with nylon core. You can have them in white and in black steel, at your wish. and as I said, for less than 1 pound free shipping.
