Dukw & Gpa ( little and large )

Post by Model Builder 4 »

Afternoon all,

Couple of pics of my amphibious vehicles, there's quite a sizable difference between the two :D The seep is a very nice little model and with a few extra bits of detailing and some weathering it should just top it off

Cheers,Lee. ImageImageImage

Hi Adam,

Yes the Dukw is certainly a bit of a beast :D it's nearly twice the length of the little Gpa seep

I haven't seen too many pictures of both the vehicles in the same shot but I did come across this photo online showing the obvious size difference between the two, I'm pretty happy with how the scale of my 1/16 pair seems comparable

So sad to see another single parent family :(

Where's the father? Bet he's off gallivanting with that hussy Shermain down at the beach again. . . .

Very nice amphibious duo you have there Lee

Nice family. I broke down and bought a Torro GPA the other day. Waiting to see if it's any better than the rest of the Torro stuff.

Thank you Mick, the seep does look rather cute next to the Dukw :D

@tankme, it's not a bad little model, so so detail wise but with a few extra bits and pieces should look decent enough. I've not given it a full or thorough workout as of yet but everything seems to work just fine

Hi Nobbi,

Thanks for looking in :D I to was looking for a Dukw for quite a while and then I was lucky enough to come across a 3D printed hull for one, I've added a link to my build thread for it below so you can see how it came to life
