Yesterday, my best beloved came home with this.
Has anyone else come across one, or can shed some light on its origins?
Not really into old tanks, and she did say she asked for a modern tank, but the proprietor of our local model shop, is so old anything after 1948 is modern to him .
A very nice surprise, and totally unexpected. It appears to be very nicely packaged and possibly has been produced by another company as an RC model? There seems to be mountings to driver the turret, which is held in place by a geared turret ring. Wheels are suspended, and there also appears to be mountings to operate the gun.Definitely the best wife ever.

It's well known kit but I never saw motorized version. At least details looks better than Heng Long:

Re: Definitely the best wife ever.
Hobby Boss and Trumpeter are in bed with each other so there may be some crossover when it is converted to R/C under the WSN brand. WSN is a the R/C side of the house for Trumpeter. WSN used to be the only one making the T-34/85 in R/C before Heng Long and Taigen made it. From what I remember WSN did make a Tiger I R/C and I ended up finding one that sold on Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/255033137848?n ... 7675.l2557.
