This is the only 6 wheel Armoured car in my collection. Well, besides the NOS model that is in the box shown here. Anyway, this one has a Dsm2 rx with micro ESC, 1.5 gram servo for proportional steering.
There are no visible indicators that this is a radio controlled model. It appears to be a stock scale model on the outside from any angle as long as the turret hatches are closed.
From a bottom view you see the factory on\off switch that indicates it is a motorized scale model but it is actually much more. from 1971 simple motor on\off switch control with manual controlled variable steering to 2021 hobby grade full DSM2 Radio Remote Control

That is very cool! An armored car that IMHO isn't seen often enough!

Yes these are a bit scare Eric.
This is a Tamiya 1971 Vintage motorized switch on\off manual variable steering angle controlled model out of the box. I built it that way originally and ran it in its stock configuration for a while and then decided to do a full DSM2 hobby grade 2 channel upgrade which you see here.
Variable throttle and steering make this fun to drive around on the big white table. I will do a video ASAP. Has to be seen running to fully appreciate.
