We have two kinds of kits: one for dynamic model (like this Tiger but it also fits trucks (1/24) or ships (1/400 - 1/200) and Static for dioramas animation (light and sound only or light, sound and movement) or plane (see the Mirage 2000 I posted before).

Smartphone is the controller (there are two apps either to "drive" the model or to program animation).

I'm now building a 1/35 demonstrator with working suspension (an AMX30) but at this scale, you don't really need it. As far as servos are concerned, it depends on the torque you need. Only servo on this model is the gun rise, doesn't need much force. FYI, smallest servo I can supply is 13.5x6x16mm (not displayed on our website but available).

I don't know much about 1/16, maybe choice in 1/35 is wider and our kit fits almost all tanks at this scale (see the Hotchkiss and the "PanPan" I posted before)
