Sherman firefly VC

Post by tomhugill »

Finally finished. Sherman firefly VC using the dgs resin conversion, lengthened lower hull, she battles with an IBU2UFO hidden ir system, metal suspesnion, t49 tracks, sprockets and idlers, lots of printed parts from woz and frankie, dgs commander figure and a sumptuous paint job from Gary Farrow.

I totally agree with the gentleman from Connecticut. The weathering application is about as good as it gets. Several of you forum members are definitely members of an elite group of modelers. Knights Templar of model tank mastery.

Fantastic looking tank for sure. I particularly like the turquoise in the paint.

Perfect.
It's also gratifying to see Nigel Mansell's directing the driver :lolno:

I don’t really have much to say about this firefly. Naturally I would be bias toward my own. I can’t help but think it’s missing some detail but at the same time it has some finer detail mine does not. But. Hey it’s another firefly. A nice change from a tiger

I can pick out a few things to praise. What I do like is although it’s another vc it’s different to mine.
