Ok I know you guys are into much bigger tanks but for those that are limited for space to store them I bring you the smallest and BEST RRC IR Battle Tanks that I have in my collection.
No where on the box does it say what scale these are but looks like they are 1/48.
I am low on time rite now as I have a (Honey due list) to perform today and will add to this as time permits.
Main features of these VS Battle tanks are..
2.4 GHz
lipo powered
Battle score system
Long range for both RC and IR
1 charger does both Tanks at the same time.
Only requires 4 AA batteries for the Transmitters.
1/48 scale so they are easy to store when not fighting a war.
Simple to use. No special training required. My wife likes these and she often wins the battle!
Very durable. Sprockets have slip clutch to prevent damage to gearbox. Great feature if your battle is on carpet.
The electronics including IR Battle system are in the Turret and are very small 2.4GHz tech. The hull is empty except for the motors and wiring to the Turret.

Re: Favorite RRC IR Battle tanks..
I bought these from eBay for £25.
Nieces and nephews love them. Good, ‘cause they ain’t ready for my 1/16’s yet!!!
A lot of fun for not a lot of money and about a half hour of charge too.

Any Idea of the scale of those Tanks? They look to be 1/24.

yes they are. Sorry. I should have said.modler wrote:Any Idea of the scale of those Tanks? They look to be 1/24.
You get 4 lives, once you get hit, the tank shudders and stops moving briefly.
Once all lives are spent the tank stops.
Reset and off you go again!!

That sounds similar to the ones I have posted here. Mine also has Auto power down. If inactive for 5 minutes it shuts down into a "sleep mode". Sound is switched off in this mode as well. There is a on\off button on the TX that turns sleep mode on\off. A switch on the bottom of the tank is for power on\off.Schultzy wrote:yes they are. Sorry. I really like these obscure VS "UNI-FUN" battle tanks. These Tanks are the Successor to a set of tanks I bought in 2005. I still have those although the tracks rooted away, they still work and are 1/24 scale. They are big and take up room. I am sure the 1/16 scale Tanks Take up a good deal of space and for me thats not doable as I have way too many models now and always looking to get the latest model if it has something I like.
