A brilliant example of what most folks minds-eye would picture a Panther to look like in the later war period............but in colour not black & white  !
I like the subtle green & red-brown with chipping. Just a spot on balance.

Now just run it outdoors so the tracks get some dirt on them too.

Much appreciated mr Bix. I was afraid that I'd overdo it. I wanted an almost fresh look, slightly worn. My favourite tank, the panther I wanted it to be finished in subtle detail and be a good runner. One of the pieces I bought from Tom and its turned out as I wanted Image

If I'd have known you wanted a fresh slightly worn look, I would have modelled for you Carl ;)

But in all seriousness, I think you nailed it Carl

Had a slow day at work today so I took advantage of the down time and finished up the panther. Detailed the tools, added a homemade arial with rubber base and stacks on the flame trap exhausts. I guess it's not completely finished until I add the fire extinguisher Image

Now its onto the Hetzer, thanks for checking inImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

That looks fantastic! I really like your decal weathering. Fresh bright decals always look funny on an otherwise realisticly weathered model.

Thank you Jimster. I've had some really good luck with decal sets from Elite-Armor, very thin, strong and easy to apply. A little dusting over them and they seem to look the part.
