My Renault is in progress. Original runs like 5km/h so it will be no problem with "poor running". Mine will be same version (MG with hexagonal turret) probably with Polish 1920 markings from battle of Warsaw.

The poor running is not about the speed, but the all terrain driving capabilities because the lack of suspension. I mean, it will look bad when running over something that is not flat. (at least for me)

That german guy installed bushings in all road wheels, and made all those wheels with fully working suspension, and it is a pleasure to see it running over all terrain. I am also mostly a backyard runner who runs over the grass and so on, so I thought I was not going to drive it and discarded the idea.

But if you RC one, I want to see it! I have seen two amazing conversions, one guy even managed to keep fully detailed interior, and that means, there is absolutelly nothing strange when you open it. There is the model motor, the fuel tank, the seat, even a driver!. That clever guy fitted all the components inside the diverse parts. Batteries under the driver, receiver in the fuel tank, and so on. Truly unbelievable.

Sadly all those pics are gone with the fall of photobucket.

Brilliant, you really should show us the full battlefield you have constructed.

Thank you!

Yes, I wish I could show the full battlefield... But so far there is not a lot to show... Yep, tanks are ready, static vehicles too, a nice bunch of soldiers as well.. but the battlefield itself is in the early stages. Just the roads... but tons of illusion!

Building it alone it is resulting in a very time consuming task, but hey, I expect to be alive for a while!

Rad, that looks so good I think you should move to Detroit and set it up here. I'll even help. 8) :haha: @)
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
