Re: 3D Printed T-35A
Hi Morfeusz,
The STL files are free from Thingiverse, just search Russian tank & it’s about 10 down from the top of the list.
I’ve already printed one from the STL’s at 100% which is 1/16 scale, the one I’m on with now is at 267% which is 1/6 scale.
If you’re new to printing the 1/16 scale would be a challenge but doable if you ask for advice on settings etc.
The printers I’ve used are 2 x Anet A8’s and a Creality Ender 3.
Cheers
Wayne

Re: 3D Printed T-35A
So if I want to print Jerry cans in 1/6 scale I can just take my 1/16 scale Jerry can file and set it for 267% and it should be just right? If that's the case, you're my hero, Wayne. Well, for at least the next 20 minutes or so.

Re: 3D Printed T-35A
Hopefully my maths are correct Gary.
1 x 16 = 16
16 divided by 6 = 2.66666667
So if you scale by 267% you’re on the money for 6th scale
All the lower suspension mounts are now bolted to the hull.
I’m now busy with the rear upper hull.
Cheers

A little more done today...
Interestingly today I stepped in the hull forgetting that it’s held up from the floor by the suspension mounts, and guess what, it didn’t break, tfft
Cheers

Re: 3D Printed T-35A
Cheers chaps
Seeing as it’s Xmas & Santa put some money in my stocking (ohh err Mrs) I’ve bitten the bullet & ordered a Creality CR 10 S4.
It’s the middle sized one with a print area of 400mm cubed. I can’t wait for it to arrive as I’ve some parts I’m going to have to print that I’d prefer to print in one piece & they’ll fit nicely on the larger bed.
Another plus is that I’ll be printing track pieces shortly & at 3 hours each the more nozzles squirting out plastic the better.
Cheers
Wayne.

Re: 3D Printed T-35A
Is it too late to get the 500 mm bed? I'd even chip in. If you're doing a 1/6 T-35 on what you have now, with a 500 you could probably do a full sized space shuttle.

267% later, I have 6th scale jerry cans. Thanks, Wayne!!
