HL DAK Panzer III

Post by capt midnight »

Maybe still a couple of small things to do on it, but basically it's done.

Thanks, Carl. The markings are Peddinghouse decals. Those came with the numbers, but they do make a sheet with just the palm trees. I just put them on over the color coat and used Solvaset on them.

As you may have noticed I'm selling some of my big tigers to make some room at my house and now I can dig into my Panzer III and my Panzer 38-t

I still have many large models but these early Panzers are still my favorites.

Bill are you running stock electronics and gearboxes? Just curious

Yeah, it's just a stock HL. I'm planning on putting some metal treads on it, but that's about it. It's a cheap fun to run. All I really did was cut out the battery box, it even still has the old style radio

Got this jewel from a buddy. He scored a deal on ebay and shared. Got a Tiger 1, this Pz III, and the 2 stugs in my other post. He wants me to do his Tiger up in a dark grey Totenkopf scheme. I just finished up a Tiger with the new sound system for him in a DAK paint job. Gotta get some pictures of it to post.
