Torro KT on bridge diorama. Diorama stops right behind the bridge. In fact using real stones to make the bridge
and river then using realistic water for the river and real dirt was the fun part! Added some battle damage to KT
after this. Used real dry grasses and water color paint it to give it more color. Same with trees they are branches from a cedar.. (was trying to see how it would look just using stuff I had in the garden) tao

Re: Kingtiger on bridge
I have to agree, looking at that bridge someone is going swimming! But they'll look fantastic while they do it!
Re: Kingtiger on bridge
The bridge is ameising!
I make 3 bridges with cement in Back of my garden, for my tanks ofk.
It is fine that you go another spep from model to Real diorama!

Re: Kingtiger on bridge
I think they mean that in real life a bridge that has been built like that wouldn't hold the weight of a KT.
Looks great in your pic though.

Re: Kingtiger on bridge
Tanks guys:) I had a lot of fun making the bridge..just cut a plastic bucket in half and coated it with a little olive oil then
cemented a layer of stones over the curve (put some sand on top so it went into cracks before cementing so as not to have cement showing) then used screen to make the rest and slowly just started to cement the stone up the sides. Top was just a board then covered with Elmer's glue and dirt. river was plaster with sand glued on top and small rocks then realistic water applications. Finally a little water color to green the stones closer to the water. With all those stones it was heavy though!

Re: Kingtiger on bridge
Woz is spot on, it REAL LIFE, but I'm sure the bridge he built can handle a 1/16 KT with no problems at all.
Also just to be clear it's an awesome job he did!

Re: Kingtiger on bridge
Would be nice to see some more pictures of this masterpiece.
Maybe a few in color, so we can see the green where the stones are in the water...

Re: Kingtiger on bridge
Thanks I should have taken more pictures but will make another one at some point..you can't really see the green much here
but I tried to make the stones lower more green and not much at top..added a little moss later between the stones too..all in all fun
and using a curved plastic and mesh really simple to make. It was cool to view the inside too:)
