S.Sgt. Lafayette Pool's 'In The Mood'

Post by PainlessWolf »

Once again a Sherman build turned into more work than was anticipated but I do not mind. These tanks lend themselves to detail and the result is always a feast for the eyes. I took a tip from Jnewboy's Sherman build and added a reconfigured Commander made out of one of the excellent Ultimate Soldier tanker figures and a couple of rare earth magnets. S.Sgt. Pool is firmly in command yet easy to move when 'hatches buttoned' combat is called for. The build thread for 'In The Mood' is here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=12575 and pictures are here:

Greetings Painless.... nice photos... I think the first two pictures show it all... especially the black and white imagery....The "Mood" is very well done... as you say... sometimes a little more attention to the details make the model...and this is a fine example

Great Job Painless

Fantastic build Painless, I have to agree the black and white photo looks spot on. I really like the level of weathering you have achieved on this one too. Very well done    8)

Good Afternoon and a great Memorial Day to you all. Thank you, Gentlemen for your kind comments. I could have done a better pic but changing the angle too much brought houses and cars into view so it is what it is. ;o) I'm glad you folks enjoyed. ;o) Marko, Scalawag, CH, *Bows* Jnewboy, thank you again or the tip on how to do a better commander figure. Alpha, the build owes much to you. Herman, *chuckles* You know I'm not a rivet counter. I build to my level of satisfaction. I'm watching all of you fellows' builds and enjoying every moment of them.
warm regards,
Painless
