Just glorious Mr Mekker.
That sound set is impressive too.
How about I send mine up there to you to be fitted out with a Clark board & sent back !!!!
That’s the only way it could get one working :/

A truly fine Assault Gun, Stian  That sound is scary enough in 1/16- 8O :D so, one can only imagine what it must have done (in full scale) to the German infantry, and their grey trousers... :lolno:

Beautiful SU 152!

A table top run about! 8O Terrifying to me, but I'm not an ace driver either. I have seen how you handled your Tiger 1 on your outside track with such skill, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised!

I don't know which one freaks me out more; table top runs or Jimster's Tiger 1 playing in a stream?! With the thing's that happen to me, I could see a "death by gravity" situation come about very quickly! :lolno: :/

Very nice work!
Eric.

Oh, and for the record, they were Assault Guns or Mobile Artillery...............not Tank destroyers :/
Yes, they destroyed tanks, but that was not the primary point of their existence.
A bit like the 88mm Flak Gun, it was not an anti tank gun, but could/did fill that role once its capability was recognised.
The 152's got the reputation for Animal Killer because they could and did destroy ANY German AFV that they could hit, but they were not employed as tank hunters, & the gun/optics combo was not designed to be a tank hunting system.
That aside, Mr Mekkers example of these low production artillery platforms is an inspiration for all of us & a well-done smiley face goes his way from me :D
