I've done a little more work on the latest Tiger.
I'm not sure about the water slide stickers - there is a bit too much satin sheen on them - I had to apply matt varnish over the top, but the kill rings on the barrel just aren't good enought, you can tell its a transfer. :/

That said I'm pleased with the overall look of the tank.

I had the same problem with kill rings on my Tiger hense I removed them, I seen on Rctank.De a set of stencils for spraying them on, I'm going to get them and have a go anyway :)

Try dry brushing , VERY LIGHTLY , some brown dusty type colour over them to tone down the shininess a bit.

Apparently, the kill rings were painted on Wittman's "S04" tank (in winter camo) as a propaganda exercise, they were then removed again as Wittman didn't want anything that would make his tank a "preferred" target.

I'm claiming artistic license and pig ignorance .... :D

Tiger "205" is still my favourite, probably because it has TK24 onboard and a recoiling barrel.....
The Maybach engine start up (the hand cranked version) with the rumble to life is just excellent.

I recall reading on another post that the HL £Frog eye" headlights can be ground down so that a proper slit eye cover can be fitted.

How many millimeters can you grind off safely in order to fit the cover ?
