Truck flooring.

Post by jarndice »

I would like to line the load bed of my JJRC 6 wheeler truck and the "Bruder" 4 wheeler trailer with an adhesive sheet of Plank patterned vinyl or similar.
Does anyone know if such a product exists?
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Have you had a look at Dolls House suppliers? I know you can get sheets of imitation wooden flooring.

You probably already know this, but in doll houses a 3/4 scale is the same as 1/16. A little harder to find than the 1/12th stuff, but it is definitely out there. Some 3/4 scale wood flooring should be perfect for the back of a truck, and if it works for you I'll definitely flagrantly copy it. Yeah, that's right, we got no shame. @) 8) :haha:

It is 1/12 scale, but it is real wood. Planks come in different widths anyway. https://www.alwayshobbies.com/dolls-hou ... gMQAvD_BwE

Richard that is a brilliant site,
I wandered around and found pre-cut planks in bundles of 5 X 1,000mm long X 0.5 mm thick and a choice of 2mm/3mm/5mm/6mm wide,
£2.50 for the 2/3mm and £2.75 for the 5mm/6mm with postage my order of one bundle of 5 planks 0.5X5mmX1,000mm = £6.70,
I need to cover a floor area of 14 cms X 22 cms and 12 cms X 20 cms so that should be enough to re-floor both my JJRC 6 Wheeler as well as the Bruder Trailer.
Once again thank you Richard
