Regular 3M blue tape sucks, I use the Coral branded stuff from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Coral-71503-Ma ... +blue+tape

The yellow tape that comes with the CR10's is even better but the only European stock I can find is about double the price of the Coral tape.

In other news - I have a Hobby Boss White 666 kit coming tomorrow 8) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1

Test print of the trailer has been going for 49 hours so far...

The wheels are proving to be a bit of a hassle to get them to look right, but I'll keep on fiddling with the shape until I get there.

Hi Martin,
49 hours so far!!!!!
Jesus are you on 0.1mm layer height?
Think I would have broken it down into manageable 8 or so hours manageable chunks, I bet you’re going stir crazy lol

I always 0.06 layer height, unless its something like the frame rails for a truck that you'll never see.

Wowzers, do you use 0.06 for the first layer as well?

Hmm, that might just be the reason why you can’t get it to stick to glass with a pritt-stick. The minimum first layer thickness I use is 0,2mm but nine times out of ten I use 0,3mm & I also get it to over extrude by 7%, that way you can lift the whole printer by the part on the bed

Ammo trailer M8 - 1:16 scale

Hehe, you just need to squeeze that first layer down properly, if the nozzle is too far away from the surface the layers will lift & peel off, if you’re too close the nozzle will plough off what it’s just laid down.
Honestly glass & a proper pritt-stick are the future
