Santa Maria

Surfing the internet I came across the Santa Maria, Columbus' flag ship.
Reading up on it I was surprised to find there are no original plans or historical information available.
All the plans I looked at where different. The only thing in common they all had was the rigging. The hull seems to be free to
interpretation.
I was looking for a display model for some time, and it was quite appealing. It would sit on top of a furniture peace without a
glass case.
I kept a number of various heavy pruning peaces, that came from my front yard trees. that could come to good use.
For the ribs I would use 6mm marine play.
Here we go.
