Eurofighter Typhoon turbine jet with wing tip smoke

Post by dominicm »

Probably the best demonstration I have seen of Gunter Zielke's unique and innovative electronic smoke system. This also shows off the G-force initiation of the smoke system as the pilot performs some high speed aerobatics.

Those smoke units are quite the spectacular creation mate.
Activated by G-force seems to enhance the effect.
Credit where its due, great ideas and fantastic flying.

Astounding flight control on show here, as well as superbly engineered, and authentic looking, scale effects.
As someone who loves aircraft (and I'm sure most forum members have a soft spot for them), you might well be interested in this silver Mk 9 Spitfire. It's a restoration project, with the unusual end goal of an around-the- World flight.

An RC version would also be pretty impressive, especially when (not if, hopefully) the project reaches its goal.
