Here are some of my Um Warbirds in their new clothing, first up a couple of
Kiwis, RNZAF Corsair and Kittyhawk.
Bit of a fan of pastels for weathering, best thing about them if you stuff up
you can wash off and start again, tried to give those to the sun bleached look!
Absolute fan of the P40 Kittyhawk, love to see a 2s UM!
The Aussies, the “Wooden Wonder.”
The mighty Mustang. Painted in the markings of the only P51 to wear camo in Australia.
Another Merlin powers machine, Spitfire, haven’t modded this one much,
attempted to replicate an airworthy Mk IX which flies in New Zealand.
The Spitfire wears the markings of New Zealander, Alan Deere who survived
the war, he actually parachuted from his aeroplanes on nine seperate occasions,
Drendan Deere his nephew owns the airworthy real one in New Zealand.
Slower pace here, Flyzones DR1, I have fitted EFlite gear to this one.
My all time favourite jet and latest addition to the fleet, the mighty A4 Skyhawk!
A habu converted to Heinemann’s Hotrod!
P47 Thunderbolt in RAF markings.
