RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

Hi guys, I've seen some nice warbirds in hobbyking, but I can't find the scale, just the size in milimeters. Roughly they seem to have 3 sizes, one about 800mm, other in 1100mm and the last that I think may be too big in 1600mm

Which one would be the closest to our tank's scale?

I've also looked at various aircraft for display really.
I googled the normal wingspan of the popular makes (real life ones) took them to the shop & divided by 16, then measured the models.

If it helps any, a P51 Mustang has a wingspan of 11m, which equates to 688mm. On the German side, a Messerschmitt Bf109e had a wingspan of 9.91m which scales down to 619mm. Both obviously scaled down to 1/16th.

I build 1/9 and 1/10 scale R/C aircraft and the wingspan on these is between 1500mm and 1600mm.

That one is even cooler! Im still messing around with the idea of making one at our tanks scale but my lack of hability and knowledge stops me beginning.

it is almost at 1/16 scale so its size is perfect. The only problem is that it does not have landing wheels, but for a beginner might be great and I always can salvage the motors for making my own aircraft.
