RedArmy models

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

RedArmy models

Post by Artem RedArmy »

The rest from modeling is over. Orders have been accepted for work. Currently in the manufacture of SU-152 for the HENGLONG chassis, KV-1S and KV-85 for the TAIGEN chassis, ISU-T on the TAIGEN chassis. I will sometimes post photos on this topic. I make these models at the same time, switch my attention between them.

For ISU-T I will use the MATO gearbox. After a little refinement, it is installed well. I see two main advantages of this gearbox: MATO is a few mm lower because of this, the cover will not touch the motors; you can put 390RC motors.

Had to look up what an ISU-T was...basically an ISU-152 minus the gun mount. Interesting project.

Looks very good. An ISU variant is on my list to build one day.

Now that's nice! Great to see even more WW2 Soviet armour being crafted so well.
