Static Jagdtiger

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Static Jagdtiger

Hi guys,

Here is a Wecohe Jagdtiger I finished a year ago:

I am not a scratchbuilder, nor do I have equipment to make parts myself, so I use as much original parts as possible.
That is why I installed the Tamiya Idler wheel parts!

Then some color on the beast, a primer from Vallejo:

Next came another favorite of mine (the other is figure painting): soldering!

When I use super glue, I'll glue parts to my fingers, when I solder, I burn my fingers!
I think my fingers hate me!

For those same reasons I use a Butane Torch (Dremel Make a nice one) Liquid solder (Fryolux) and a paintbrush, No pain (Unless you lick the paintbrush, Fryolux is very toxic  ) a great finish and just so easy.
You have built a great model even if it did hurt a bit :lolno:
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
