She has already, just fettling it to be sure before we make any more.
Have to say we have enjoyed taking it for a run today.
Cat & the kids have all had a go and I have to say I was ultra impressed when Cat reversed the flak with apparent ease and both the kids picked up the rear steering straight away.
Looks like I need to make myself another model for myself, I can see I have lost this one.
May aswell get on with the Flak40 at some point :)

I expect this will already be within your field of knowledge, but just in case I thought I would post it anyway. Watching the video of the 88 in action, some of the movements are a little violent. I have come across this https://modelradioworkshop.co.uk/shop/s ... ervo-slow/ It is adjustable up to 15 seconds.

Thanks for the post, we have seen those also.
The latest video we just changed the pivot arm lengths on the servo and then used the channels with pots on the flysky fsi16x transmitter turning them by hand.
To be fair the notchy movements are now down to servo resolution and you can see at some angles this can lead to a non smooth movement.
I am sure a higher grade servo could help greatly but just helps increase the price.
I just wish I could do electronics and setup with geared motors and arduino etc, but that stuff is beyond me.
It's like everything, everything could be made better. :)
So further changes may occur with time

Just built another few 1/16 Flak36 88mm.
I love the size if these AA & AT guns. It makes me scared tho to think how they would have been seen or feared on the battlefield. They are a beastly weapon

Have built 5 now in various setups vehicle, ground, axle mounted, with or without front shield.

If anyone wants one though get a message over to Catherine as we will make a small number and then looking to finalise the new updated 251 half track

Catherine is itching to get some paint on one of these 88's but is trying to find a suitable colour theme to go with

Yep, I think you got my email a few weeks ago, but I confirmed with Catherine just now. viewtopic.php?f=145&t=32072&p=315768#p315768. I see real progress on the gun elevation: slowed down from the high-speed version after that "fly swatter" wisecrack fun.

It's getting better for sure, but I am.still not 100% happy with it.
In the video I was operating the servo slowly on a pot control. If you flicked the stick it would go fast however.
It's just not ready with the elevation yet.
I assume you want a fully rc version, so I best carry on with incorporating that better.
The ones Catherine is advertising are currently without elevation control

You can control the speed of the servo movement in a couple of ways. One is to use a slow servo! Another is to use a radio system that allows you to adjust the speed the receiver asks the servo to move. The later is best but more expensive. Hope this helps you.
