1945 Jagdtiger Tank Destroyer

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Post 7000. Fitting that it should be for Jack's build. Here is another multi-night compilation of work\fun on this monster. Initial Building is now complete save for a Commander. Weathering and Commander will show up in the next round of photos.

Great your back at the big fella mate.
I still cant get my head around all the guards being on !!!
Been looking for real pics of this machine in the pictures around the net & no joy.
When I was doing mine they all started to look the same after a short while :/

Good morning, Herman,
While you will find wartime photos of 323 and 322, there are no pictures of 321. The closest I got to a reference was Volume 2's note that the vehicle was destroyed in fighting that also saw the loss of 323 and 322. Lost to History. Gives me a bit of leeway to show it depot fresh with all the guards and the Unit marking plus the black main gun barrel. Having it be Grey ( like an old WWll photo) is just my artistic license. Thanks for looking in my Friend. A little more to go before turning my attention to Sherman's and Jagdpanthers.
regards,
Painless

Ahh that explains the lack of pictures!
Just like none have surfaced of Tiger F05 though we know there was one .
It’s just a me thing to prefer guards missing either partially or completely!
At times I forget that they all started out new at some point.
Carry on that man, let the story continue!

Good Evening,
As of today, the Build is complete and is awaiting the new Commander. Once the Commander arrives, I will do a Video and Show Off set of photos. Until then, here is the last item painted and the complete vehicle weathered with Tamiya Washes and Weathering Kits and a new favorite, Magic Grime. ( A little does go a long way! )

Painless, once again you have created a "reference build" that all of us can use in the future. Great build and explanations, as always! I really enjoy going back to the beginning of your builds and following your progress to completion. Better than a movie!
