1945 Jagdtiger Tank Destroyer

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Yes, Painless, more news of Luna Wolf, please. Oops, off topic--maybe a doggie section would be used here on RCTW :D

Good afternoon, Gentlemen,
Luna is 98% Housebroken so that is a relief. The biggest issue we are dealing with now is aclimation between her and Waylon. It is work but we are getting it done. Soon, I expect for time free to enjoy Tanks again.

Good Evening,
Managed to get my aging Charger to charge up the 5000NiMh I use for the Jagdtiger. It is tricky to get it to charge that size battery fully so I am in the Market for a smart charger. I have a couple lined up, an IMAX B6AC and an EHX EZPro Duo 1. Any advice from you guys is always appreciated ( I read the charger thread in ELECTRONICS which is where I got the idea for the IMAX charger ) I was on pins and needles hooking everything back up. It has been three months since I started the TD. Fortunately, everything roared back to Life and nothing fell off. I am still disappointed by the lackluster Smoker from Taigen. It is better after I had worked on it earlier in the build but still not what I expected performance wise. I am considering a Tarr Smoker from Poland ( another long wait ) or I see the new Smoker from HL on the market. That one looks interesting but is a dual wire plug in unlike the Taigen which only requires one wire and is controlled from the Remote. Again, ideas? ( I am already using an excellent aftermarket smoke fluid and have adjusted the wick inside the current Smoker ) The TD is live again so time to make any final adjustments before finishing Details and the Commander.
regards,
Painless

Hi Painless, looking good, I have the Imax charger, it seems well built and works well, What about one
of the GI range of smokers from Forgebear, I dont have one but will likely buy one soon, they seem to get good

Hello Ludwig!
Thanks for the reply, my friend. I'll take your advice on the IMAX charger. ( it does come with a Tamiya connector, right?) As soon as work is over, today, I'll go check out Forgebears stock of smokers and give them an eyeball. Thank you again!
regards,
Painless

Hi Painless, yes mine came with a selection of different plugs and cables, there are some so called fake Imax
chargers about, I think the genuine ones are marked with a hologram label
