Hi Guys
I just thought i would share this here as like another user of the forum, we have also been working on a 251 in some spare time on & off for over a year.
Some parts have already started to be printed, this is going to be our pride & joy :)

We are going to be building a 251 SD.Kfz Ausf C, but we have also been looking @ adding a D so then i can mount a Pak40 in the back also :)

Hopefully this Christmas the first prototype will be printed for myself to play with and then we can work from there.

The interior is customisable, so expect to see some of our other models being mounted in the back

Drive will come courtesy of 2 geared motors and be capable of 2s & 3s running, although dependent on control system.
The front suspension will be fully operational as it should and the rear will have a full working torsion bar setup.
A metal chassis will be built, but if required we may also print a simpler chassis. I want to be able to mount different variants to the chassis as much as possible.
Tracks will be either printed or i may look into a metal track setup, but time will tell.

Keep you eyes peeled for more soon

Looks like I shall have to start saving my pennies again. It's my birthday in May and it would make lovely present for myself!

It should be a beauty, but still alot of work to do. It's a slowly slowly project, but I really hope I can get one running over the holidays.
For sure once it running Catherine can advertise a few, but many things to be ironed out before then. Plenty options available aswell

Hello Will,
FYI: https://www.asiatam.de/Testkategorie/Me ... ---16.html
These chains are well made and are also used for the upcoming 251 from the "Fertigungswerk16", even if these are expensive, it is therefore possible that they will be sold out soon
Asiatam have 3d printed Wheels and Sprockets for the 251, but i donĀ“t recommend these part, because the Quality is crappy horrible.

Bit by Bit, the little pieces come off the printer for the first trial build model. Loads things and details to be sorted, but i wanted to see one in person and see how things will work for servicing etc
Lots little things

Rear Doors, they hinge as they should, i just need to get a micro magnet in there to hold them shut on tough offroading

Mudguards & dash panel/bulkhead

Hopefully i can show more of it assembled tonight

I am amazed at how small this model is, but it really is going to be a little beauty
