My Schwimmwagen Torro

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Absolutely super nice model! I always wanted a company to reproduce a drivable replica using a fiberglass tub and modern mechanical fittings, but, oh well.
I hope to see yours in a video some day. Beautiful job.

Looks nice! I question why they used that thin thread for the prop lift; something heavier would offer better scale appearance.

If that interested somebody, this is pictures of rear and front axle. The system is pretty good, but I doubt the plastics gimbals will have a long life in offroad. :S

The last pictures are to show how remove a wheel. It is very simple

Those are some great pictures and it looks very nice. I'd say it's built to a high quality level- aside from the drive shaft dogbones that do appear a bit limited I'd imagine. Run it easy. Certainly someone will come out with replacements and upgrades

Thank you all.

C.rainford73, like you, I hope someone will upgrades these parts. My 9 years old son has broken down the Schwimm, but repair was easy, because the gimbal was not to his place and not broken.
