Our friend wanted us to try and utilise the existing Torro gun setup without modification(or very little)
Using blueprints and pictures we have drawn this up to the best of our ablility to 1/16, but also used artistic license to make it look right as we were asked not to modify the existing gun base.
We are already on prototype No.2, but it is just about there.
There is also a small transmitter setup so it can be hooked up to a battery and made to move.
Tyres are slightly larger than scale as we wanted to utilise an existing market available wheel, so Playmobil came to the rescue(don't tell our son!)
Once it is fully finished we will get a video to show it off and get it all detailed up.
Not sure there are many Torro left over gun units out there for sale or left over, so maybe somepoint later in the year we will design up our own Quad gun unit which can also fit within this trailer as a universal type package. Maybe also do a M55 carriage which is the bigger twin axle trailer setup for the same weapon system.
