Nice! This is probably one of the most accurately detailed Tigers I’ve ever seen.
Re: Torro/Taigen kit Tiger
Hi all Jimster i just get a notion or idea about making it better, your road wheel flange is an example of how a little change makes a big improvement.
Herman i bust the MG ring so looked at the other builds , HL is 2mm thick ,Tamiya is 1.5mm and the nice trumpeter static Panther is 1mm. The Schumo MG holder had to be filed slightly to fit the Tamiya KT .
Back to the build never liked having to push the rear in to lock the top half , fitted 2 struts to line up the locating notches. Going to try some Brass Black metal finish for the brass and copper hope it stays blackish.

Re: Torro/Taigen kit Tiger
Brass Black is good. I use it on my muzzleloader builds to age the brass furniture.
Re: Torro/Taigen kit Tiger
Even the Pro's can get it wrong, spot the mistake. Was fixing the spare Hobby Boss tracks and noticed it after i done one side.
Re: Torro/Taigen kit Tiger
Hangers were wrong for position on turret, fixed and added locking handles.

Where are you? Maybe I can send you the links you need.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
Re: Torro/Taigen kit Tiger
Hi Max thanks for the offer, Son of a gunner has sorted it out . I used this , bad move as copying something that wrong is a waste of time.
