How did we get from early a1 wheels to the merlin engine in the p51. Via the Philippines.
Although that engine in that airframe did work quite well. Any way. After a little filing and with a little paint I think these wheels will just about do

Now, am I being thick? I had it in my mind Composite, and I just put "M4 hybrid" Google, and got nothing but golf clubs. . . .Tiger6 wrote:Lots of M4 hybrids used in the retaking of the Philippines, less common in the ETO in US service.

Been a little busy today but the bogies and wheels are now at their final pre paint stage. They ain’t 5 spoke but they don’t look like cortina wheels any more so that will be how they will stay. Apart from the paint
