Early m4a1

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

So after some part came today from Dave here is today’s offering.

Machine guns placed but not set. Seem a good fit.
Tracks installed again just checking for fit and adjustments not final
Hatches placed.
Tracks may be too slack

They are matos after market Heng long series t49 track with sprocket and idlers from forgebear but he only had 5 sets left when I ordered these.

So you have done well if you got them to fit on Heng Long gearboxes.

They are aftermarket part made to fit Heng long but should also fit Torro/Taigen as many of my t34 based tanks have Torro tracks and wheels some of which are on Heng long hills and gearboxes

I can confirm, I've purchased two Heng Long Sherman's off of forgebear with these Mato tracks and sprockets already attached to the standard Heng Long gearboxes, the sprockets actually won't fit the gearboxes that come with the Mato standard plastic cast hull Sherman's.

I have a few sets of mato tracks on Heng long Sherman’s now. 2 sets of t49 and 1 set of the other with duckbills. But I do find that if you use mato HL tracks you will need their HL sprocket with it as they are not a great fit on the standard HL sprocket. From my experience at least
