Quick test, but still a long way to go.
Goliath & trailer.
The trailer has working suspension still to be connected and the tank coupled and decouples as it should.
Just need find some tracks. Maybe thinking if we can motorise for rc using 1/35 rc tank or something.
Wheels are borrowed from my infantry cart, but need get thicker tyres printed

Well pleased with this little thing to tow behind Kubelwagen or Kettengrad

I toyed with the idea of using one of those Waltersons 72nd scale tanks as a power unit for a Goliath.
Never got anywhere though !

These are not the wheels that will be sued as they are borrowed from my infantry carts, but a wider spec tyre and wheel design will follow

I think the 1/35 Panzer 2 tracks would be good on this Goliath @ 1/16, but can anyone confirm rough dimensions for these tracks or has any they are willing to part with?

Changed the wheel design so that there is brass collet and 3mm ball race bearing for wheels.

Just need to get a tyre sorted out next
Then this weekend job is to get the big 1/6 version sorted :)

The tracks on my 1/35 Tamiya Panzer 2 are 9mm wide. Each track link is about 3mm long, but it's hard to tell coz it is a rubber band track. If you need more info than that just ask.

That sounds perfect, the next piece of info would be how long they are? Please dont cut the tracks though, but i need idea of length to see how many i may need per Goliath
