Panzer Spirit Build 2022 - ?

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Herman!
I had done something similar years ago on a Panther G build. This time I just upped the ante a little and got the proper covers and clasps and associated hardware and opened the Bins. They are still sturdy and will take the bumps and thumps that the tank will get while I am running it outside.
regards and thanks again for the push in the right direction

A Short Update tonight! Moving on with the Casemate detailing. I remembered mentioning that I wanted to make the Scissors Scope cover workable. Was not nearly as bad as the tiny brass for the Bin hatches. ;o) I could close the mount for the Gunners scope by scratching a cover out but I kind of like the scope mounted there with a glass lens. ( Looked great on the Jagdtiger Build ) I will start on the tools and periscopes next. Included some pics of a beautiful morning after the snow storm moved on this last weekend.

Herman!
Thank you, Sir. I lived for years in the Front Range of Colorado. Now that I have traded the big house and attendant mortgage for land of my own up in the Rockies, I can not go back to the cities and their over crowding. Yes, once I scrap together the periscopes out of spares and repaint/weather the tools, it will be time for primer!
regards,
Painless

Time for another batch of Build Pics for the Jagdpanther. Detailing on this tank is complete as of last night. All that is left is Primer and Paint, wiring up the convoy light and painting Von Norden. Then it is onto the Sherman and Jim Fafnir and Sherri.
