Panther F

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Hull is ready for painting now the brass is on. Wondering if i should scrap the tool racks as the later Jagdpanthers moved the tools to the rear and the KT only had the starter handle on the hull side. Was this the start of a common layout for ease of production, only removed the C hook holders for now as i fitted them on the rear .

Paint on , not quite right may change turret colour.Thought i had a mix made up with XF 60 / XF 57, need some test mix's. Armoured plate roughed up to loose the smooth finish and a very light spray with XF 9 to give a worn look and highlight the tool rack damage.

Another wet day so fixed the drivers vision port. Servo arm was rubbing on lower hull.

Thanks maxmekker Have the drivers scope operational, well it needs a little more work done. Nearly had a total write off at end of video, need to have a look at editing videos.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehwPDMN05Zw

3rd time lucky for the drivers scope mod, the high/low gearbox makes like hard work. If the high/low was reversed it would be easy , 2 goes with a servo lever setup then used a geared servo system. Rewire the lower hull as old cables were a mess.
Both hatches are clear now , can fit switch and volume control with no wire links in the way now.

Fitted the Elmod board and tidied up the wires, new switch and power lead. The servo for drivers vision port was catching on the old switch, used another type thats lower. Found out the Elmod configuration does not work with the new Fusion pro F board its the App now for fine tuning the tanks setup.
Don't need to make up a flying usb lead one is supplied.
