Panther F
Re: Panther F
Nice one. I have an F as well. In 1 35th scale to be honest
.
Even though some bits maybe oversize, at least they are there. I am sure you will make something great of it.

Re: Panther F
Hi Soeren Thanks for looking, started the teardown . 1st job is the hull mg. Well that was a good start , noticed the mg armoured cover was all wrong. Checked my stash and the Jagdpanther one is same as the KT spare cover when i used the zimmerit kit. , must have been a standard fitting. Only one option cut out the Taigen cover as it will annoy me.

Re: Panther F
Only one option , get rid of the Taigen hull mg holder. Found a spare Tamiya mg cover .
Re: Panther F
Some work on upper hull.
Re: Panther F
Made a new recoil and elevation for the F, the one size for all is not for me. Should buy some long servo horns/levers spent ages looking for one. Once i get max elevation and depression i can find out what was real and adjust the Elmod servo settings to get it almost correct.

Man, that’s some impressive engineering! You certainly have a wide spectrum of skillsets. This hobby seems to offer a lot of opportunities to improvise and alter things to fit our needs.
Re: Panther F
That is really nice and looks like a good solution for my G as well. Where did you get the cogwheel and the toothed strip from?
Re: Panther F
Hi Soeren Have a look on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/34-Kinds-Pla ... SwdRparOd4 The best toothed strips have a flat each side of the teeth and you are able to make a guide for it to sit in and the servo cog does not slip.
