Kettenkrad SdKfz 2

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Kettenkrad SdKfz 2

Post by FredtheFrench »

Hello everybody. Like explain in a previous post, I am the owner of a Kettenkrad, winned by auction ...

Yesterday, I began this vehicle. Wheels did not roll, but now, this problem has been resolved, differents holes has been resealed and chassis has been repair because broken bolt of a wheel was stuck up inside.

I would like to do a Kettenkrad more realistic possible, with of course, a lot of work on the fork!!!

You can notice the valve for tyre... ;)

Thank you Lee.

I ve seen a big problem with the rear (the hook for trailer can not be folded). The space is to small when you compare with pictures of Kettenkrad. It need to down few milimeters. This part is also too long, but not can be modified wihout modifie a lot of parts...

Have fun with this nice model and sure you'll make a very nice build as usual.

For those who didn't see my very quick, with not that much modifications, build, here's the link to what I did with it:
