New project Matilda 3/4
Re: New project Matilda 3/4
I will be watching this build with rapt attention. The Matilda is my favourite tank and it's always good to see more early war armour being built. Have you given any thought to what camo scheme you will give it? Can't wait for the next installment.

Re: New project Matilda 3/4
Well I haven't had as much fun as this since granny fell on't fire!
The suspension for the Matilda is proving to be vastly more complex than the Centurion and Chieftain.
I can easily see why none of the main tank manufacturers wanted to have a bash at this, it's complex.
I'm going to have to design and build side sponsons to make this work (a la Churchill) so it won't be a five minute job, still it keeps me out of mischief.

Mr Alwyn you pull this one off and you have a second commission right here. I will start putting cash aside
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

I never cease to be amazed how someone could get anything useful out of openscad , but I'll be following this with great interest
When are you going to get your finger out, Wayne and help us out with all of this CAD work??
