I just went to my goto supplier of magnets---
http://www.first4magnets.com
to find out what they charged for them,
They don't sell them in fours the smallest amount is a pack of twenty five,
5x3 X pack of 25= £5.18
3x3 X pack of 25= £4.02
Total 50 neo-dymion magnets £9.20,
Like a fool I was expecting a completed pair of arms.
So I now find myself doing what I could have done years ago and for a lot less money.
This is one product I most certainly will not be recommending
That's too bad. I assumed you would get more than that as well. I bought 200x 4mmx1mm for $8 US. :O

Thanks for the warning for the rest of us.

Thanks for the link - it was magnets or Velcro but magnets are tidier. What a range too!

Glad to be of help,
I would suggest that whenever possible you purchase the Countersunk versions simply because my experience has shown that Glue is not upto the mark when it comes to using Magnets with a 5 Kg + lifting strength.
"Velcro" does have a place in my Tanks but more as a floor mat in the Hull to retain Smokers/Receivers/Speakers/Motherboards etc.

Velcro is widely used in racing /trucks for fixing things like mfu / receivers and works well, as does double sided number plate tape but glue, it depends what you use. As I've said before on this forum, ShoeGoo is the easiest and one of the strongest out there. In racing we use it for lexan shells and repairs. It's like a rubber based glue that adheres to anything, doesn't crack and waterproofs too.

That magnet outlet is wonderful - 20 million magnets in stock! Just bought 40 so 199999960 left ;)

Any one seen these? They look pretty good, however not totally accurate. Better than urethane tubing.

I think they just came out. I will be ordering a set soon.

Before you spend money on those tubes you need to remember that the Tubes on the Tiger ! were actually as seen from the outside 12 sided metal mesh Tubes,
"ABER" sell-----------
"Brass Photo Etch, 16 031 Tiger 1 Ausf E Feifal Air Cleaners"
Available from
http://www.forgebeartanks.com
The title is deceptive,
They actually wrap around the Tube and you can glue or solder along the join,
I recommend you put a pencil or any firm fitting rod such as a Ball point pen in the rubber tube and then tightly wrap the "ABER" Photo Etch around the tube then glue or solder along the join,
I do not use the end pieces,
Finish by painting the assembly in matte black and you have an authentic 12 sided set of metal mesh Feifal Air Cleaner Tubes,
It is one of the easiest Photo Etch exercises you will ever do.
Cost about £17/$19.
Recommended.

I knew about the aber set. I just can't justify spending over $30 (cheapest I can find shipped to the US) for a set. I think these taigen look good.

I tried 3d printing some, and they were too rigid. I don't think they would work.

Go to a place that sells electrical hardware for houses. Ask for a length of gfibre glass conduit that is used to protect the thermometer on ovens
It looks to be the same stuff .
I can send you 4 bits if you like.
I will dig it out and post a picture asap
