Famo Flak 88mm

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

This is the very old Gearbox.
When did you buy the Famo?
ASIATAM has had a new gearbox for the Famo for about 1 year...

I am enjoying your builds with a regret that the Famo in particular and German Half Tracks in general have been sorely neglected by Tamiya, Heng Long and Taigen in 1/16 although of course we do have WSN/TORROS American M16 which for a mass produced model is very well detailed.
Please carry on the good work
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Oh wow, this thing is wonderful, thanks for sharing
As Shaun said, German half tracks have been neglected by the big players, such a shame as they would make a killing.

Very nice project. I like the Famo. For gearbox, mine has been send to Mk Modellbau 4 or 5 years ago to change the gearbox like your model.

For my second Famo (it will be a Famo 9/1), I m waiting before change this one.
Sorry for my spelling mistakes, I try to do better every day...
