1/4 scale Panzer 38t

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Yeah, we chose 1/8th because the side plates for the Panzer 38 is about a half inch, and we are doing a quarter scale so it works out perfectly

So because of the steel plate and Cast aluminum components this thing is going to be heavy!

I've ordered 2 24V 400W bicycle motors for the drive. It's got to be able to pull itself up a 45° incline to get into my truck bed. Now do you think the ST 2x32 will suffice for the controller?

Electronics is the opposite of what I am good at haha. Let me stick to machining and fabricating any day

I'm using the 2x32 sabertooth in my hetzer and it works just great.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

As promised here I present to you plates before I start welding. Hopefully next week I can start putting it together. Still need a few holes drilled for the motor mounts
