Panther
Re: Panther
Hi, good to see youback on this. Don´t worry about this being a long build. Building is the most fun, so enjoy it.
For the tracks on the RC tank I would say, go for the ready made steel tracks. But for the static kit? What was I saying again about the build part?

Re: Panther
Torsion bars need a fix some parts wrong colour. Found out colours for internal drives etc , Britmodeller sorted out my problems.
Re: Panther
Update Engine painted, engine compartment and dry fit to check if the engine is removable.
Re: Panther
Back onto this ,managed to mix tamiya colours for interior. Not perfect but it will do. Made up some sub assembly units and painted , tried for fit. Painted some shells and sat them in , brass needs toned down. Almost worked out a way to enable engine removal, Should have not glued the support panel for the filler tanks behind engine.
Re: Panther
Some paint and filling up the lower hull, still have the radio gear to do . Radio has 50 parts and half is PE,then finding a way to to fix it onto the transmission rather than off the hull deck.
Re: Panther
Very nice! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a detailed interior. Looks like those cutaway drawings in books.
Re: Panther
Thanks Jimster A lot of 1/35 builds about , its hard enough doing it in 1/16 . Don't know how they manage to do it in the smaller scale.
Re: Panther
Fixing a couple of shell racks, don't want to glue them in . Some glue to soften the bond and hold down till it sets, will use some shells to sit on my rc panthers.
Re: Panther
Turret, gun and basket started , will be a tight build so done sub assemblies for easier painting.
